Owner and President of Architectural Surfaces, Inc., Paul Rasmussen, got his start in the wallcovering industry at the young age of 21. He was eventually transplanted to the Hawaiian Islands in 1967 as General Manager of a small wallpaper distribution company.

Three years later, he started his own business named Paul Rasmussen Inc. with two small wallcovering books. He nurtured the blossoming company and employees until a business associate offered and purchased the company over a decade later. Paul immediately began cultivating Architectural Surfaces, Inc.

Since 1984, we have become a multi-faceted decorative surface distribution company with deep roots in wallcovering and decorative wall panels. Our product line now includes luxury flooring, acoustical solutions, mouldings & columns, and specialty paints & aging solutions.

Our showroom is located at the Gentry Pacific Design Center and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We welcome you to browse through our collection of hundreds of specialty wallpapers, touch our sculpted wall panels, feel our luxury flooring, imagine your home with our crown mouldings, balustrades and columns painted with our specialty metallic paints and patinas.
